There are buses, trains and DART's from Malahide to Dublin city centre.

    No visit to Malahide is complete without visiting Malahide castle. The Talbot family lived in the Castle from 1185 to 1973. We are only 500 metres from the castle ensures that a visit is a firm favourite with our guests. There are beautiful walks around the 250 acre grounds and visitors can take in the Walled Talbot Botanic Gardens, Frys Model Railway, the Craft and Gift Shops or relax in the coffee shop. The castle grounds host tennis courts, pitch and putt golf courses and a children's playground.


    Dublin City Centre

    We recommend using the public transport system in Malahide (DART and Bus) to get to and from Dublin city centre. Taking a 'hop on hop off' bus tour of the city is a quick and fun way to see all the key tourist sites from the Book of Kells in Trinity College to The Guinness Storehouse.
